Description

The Cisco 575 LRE CPE, referred to as a CPE, is based on very-high-data-rate digital subscriber line (VDSL) technology. The CPE connects a computer or notebook to a Catalyst 2900 LRE XL switch at distances of up to 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) by using LRE technology over ordinary telephone lines. The Cisco 575 LRE CPE converts a VDSL-based signal on the telephone line to an Ethernet signal to the computer.
